About Co-founder

Sudhanshu Kumar, PhD

Dr. Kumar is one of the co-founders of Envitrans, who brings 29 years of extensive experience managing and conducting various environmental studies. Dr. Kumar is a specialist in air pollution meteorology, air dispersion mathematical modelling, and acoustic remote sensing of the Planetary Boundary Layer (PBL) using the SODAR technique.

Dr. Kumar's expertise in environmental studies has been widely recognized. He served as an Expert Member of the State Expert Appraisal Committee of Bihar in 2018-19 for the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC), Government of India.

Dr. Kumar's academic achievements are equally impressive. He earned a PhD in Environmental Sciences for his research work on the impact of meteorological stratification on air pollutant dispersion in the lower atmosphere. His research has shed light on the complex relationship between meteorology and air quality, and has helped to inform environmental management strategies.

Prior to co-founding Envitrans, Dr. Kumar served as a Principal Environmental Consultant in the URS Scott Wilson (now AECOM). During his tenure, he worked on a variety of high-profile projects, honing his expertise in environmental management and consulting.

Dr. Kumar's vast experience and expertise make him an invaluable member of the Envitrans team. His contributions have helped to establish Envitrans as a leader in the field of environmental software and meteorological data services, and his ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence ensures that Envitrans will continue to provide cutting-edge solutions to complex environmental challenges.
