WRF model-derived met

Mesoscale WRF-ARW runs processed into model-ready formats using MMIF and CALWRF for direct ingestion by dispersion models.

Site-specific met & terrain

Custom domains, coordinate-specific processing and terrain prep (AERMAP) to match your receptor grid and modelling domain.

AERMOD/AERMET-ready packages

EPA MMIF-processed surface (*.SFC) and profile (*.PFL) files plus ONSITE/FSL and AERMET stage inputs where requested.

CALMET / CALPUFF support

3D.DAT (CALWRF) and MMIF TXT/DAT/GRD/AUX outputs for three-dimensional meteorological domains and CALMET preprocessing.

Each order includes a README describing file contents, processing steps and recommended model settings. Custom formats available on request.

How it works

  2. We confirm coordinates, domain size and options (AERMOD / AERMET / CALMET / CALPUFF).
  3. We run WRF (if requested) and process outputs with MMIF/CALWRF to produce model-ready files.
  4. Delivery: secure download link, README and basic usage notes.

Turnaround: Typical delivery 1–5 working days for standard domains; WRF runs and larger domains take longer.

Quality: Processed to US EPA MMIF / CALWRF standards with documented checks.

Support: Post-delivery questions and small clarifications included; further consultancy quoted separately.
