Overview
dhwaniPRO® is a free field sound propagation model that is designed for undertaking construction, industrial, and traffic noise propagation modeling. It is especially useful for conducting environmental noise assessments.
With dhwaniPRO®, a user can quickly create a variety of scenarios to determine the impact of changes to the sound source, layout, and the effects of noise mitigation devices such as barriers. This allows for a comprehensive analysis of the noise propagation to be conducted.
Menu-driven data entry, a digitizer to place source, receptor and barriers using mouse, and/or keyboard

Techincal Specifications
dhwaniPRO® has been developed by the in-house team of Envitrans.
The model implements most of the procedures detailed in ISO 9613, including Part 1, which deals with the calculation of sound absorption by the atmosphere, and Part 2, which provides a general method of calculation. It also implements the Calculation of Road Traffic Noise (CRTN - ISBN 0 11 550847 3), which was issued by the Department of Transport in 1988. With these standards and procedures, dhwaniPRO® provides an accurate and reliable tool for conducting outdoor noise propagation analysis.
